The Truecar Create Offer Tool is…

a redesign of a previous dealer tool used to filter through consumer leads from the TrueCar CRM and offer the vehicle price to the user through email. The redesign allows for a better user flow as well as the ability to edit and send an offer within the same page.

Dealers use too much time and more than one flow to send an offer to a lead.

Selling vehicles is a fast-paced job. Dealers need to send as many vehicle offers as possible to the leads they receive from TrueCar.

Allow Dealers to choose a lead, edit, and send an offer within the same flow.

Along with a UI redesign, filtering and search options were added to easily sift through leads. A right side drawer flow opens after a Dealer clicks ‘Create an Offer’ on a lead through the TrueCar CRM. In this drawer, the Dealer is able to edit any existing vehicle offers to their lead, create a new offer for a vehicle, and/or send offers.

• Create low fidelity digital wireframes for quick ideation of UI design.

• Paper sketch end-to-end functionality of Offer drawer, including editing of offer.

• Create high fidelity digital designs and create a working prototype to deliver to product stakeholders.

Dealers send offers on leads more rapidly, increasing the prospect of selling their vehicles quickly and more often.

This allows for dealer leads to inquire about the vehicles they are interested in leading to more consumers going into a dealership to see the vehicle.
